BREAKING: HBO To Air Alternative 24/7 Hockey Series In December

It looked like the NHL lockout would not only deprive hockey fans of their sport, but also of the best sports related reality series, HBO’s 24/7 – Road to the Winter Classic. But, Hockey Independent has learned that HBO has put together an alternative series of shows with the same 24/7 format. “24/7 Fehr –Bettman – Road to NHL Ruin” will air starting in December.
Hockey Independent was forwarded the script to the opening of the first episode. The series starts off in a hauntingly familiar way and stars Commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA Executive Director Donald Fehr and is narrated by Liev Schreiber. Be advised, the script contains some strong language, just as all HBO reality specials do.

Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr’s proximity means their paths infrequently cross, which calls to mind an axiom as old as business itself. The more you get to know your opponent, the less you negotiate.
