All we can say is that he sure looks……smart. It looks as if Boston hedge fund manager, Jeffrey Vinik will be the next owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and it will happen quickly. Vinik is working hand in hand with the NHL to make the deal happen and this will work wonders to push him quickly through the approval process. Another appealing point of approving Vinik is that he is self financing the deal.
