 Washington’s Top 4 Rounding into Form

The Caps put on a little show last night against the Blackhawks, scoring 6 goals on 30 shots against Hawks backup-hopeful, Corey Crawford. Although it was merely another pre-season game, this was the first time that the coach and the fans had the chance to see how their big 4 are performing.

Judging from what they saw, everyone is pleased.

Alexander Ovechkin; 16:42 – 2g – 1a – +1
Alexander Semin; 14:53 – 0g – 3a – +1
Nicklas Backstrom; 17:02 – 1g – 2a – +1
Mike Knuble; 14:46 – 2g – 1a – +1

Fresh from the PR department of the Washington Capitals;

Oskar Osala, Andrew Gordon and Kyle Wilson have been sent back to the Bears, leaving only 33 players left in camp.
