Dan Hamhuis likely to be traded by Predators to Flyers tomorrow

According to various sources, (including most notably Darren Dreger of TSN) the Philaldephia Flyers are expected to finalize a deal with the Nashville Predators to acquire the services of defenseman Dan Hamhuis tomorrow.

The Flyers have placed forward Riley Cote on waivers and goaltender Ray Emery in LTIR in order to make cap room. Other names that have been involved in the trade discussions between the two teams reportedly include Ryan Parent and Dan Ellis.

Hamhuis, who is making $2.5 millions this season (with a cap hit of 2 millions), is in the last year of a 4-year contract. In 57 games with Nashville, Hamhuis, 27, has recorded four goals and twelve assists for 16 points.

Hamhuis is mostly likely NOT coming to Philadelphia. Sources have told me that Nashville have already turned down three Philly offers.
