Sabres Send Paille to Boston

In a stunning move on October 20th, the Buffalo Sabres traded Forward Daniel Paille to the Boston Bruins for a third-round draft pick. A fourth-round draft pick is conditional on Paille’s scoring of 16+ goals in Boston for the remainder of this season.

This is all we know for now. Personally, I’m a little blind-sided. I was surprised with this move, and all I can say right know is that I certainly hope that Darcy Regier and Lindy Ruff know what they’re doing. I don’t think  Buffalo needed more draft picks, the Sabres have an abundance of home-grown talent skating around in Portland.
