The Bolts Beat Podcast, with Mike Corcoran and Jon Jordan

Former Tampa Bay Lightning correspondent, Jon Jordan, and Creative Loafing’s Lightning writer, Mike Corcoran stop in for a cameo here at Hockey Independent with the debut episode of The Bolts Beat – a relaunch/rebranding of the podcast formerly known as BoltsBuzz Radio.

On today’s show, Lyle “Spector” Richardson joins Jon and Mike to discuss the highs and lows of the trade rumor game, the expected transaction frenzy of this weekend’s NHL Draft and the off-season ahead for the both Lightning and the NHL in general. Also joining the broadcast: Lightning blue chip goaltending prospect Dustin Tokarski, who shares his draft experience and gives his thoughts on the bright future that lies ahead for him.

All that and more, including draft and offseason opinions and predictions from the hosts as well as the return of former BBR features, “What the Hell Was THAT?” and “Mike’s Missed Call of the Week”. (And maybe, juuuuuuust MAYBE, a little insight into the mysterious future of JJ’s Bolts coverage???)
