I have come to understand that costs for on-line degree professionals tend to be a terrific value. For instance a full 4-year college Degree in Communication from The University of Phoenix Online consists of Sixty credits with $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online provides a Bachelors of Business Administration with a complete education course element of 180 units and a cost of $30,560. Online learning has made getting your certification much simpler because you can earn your current degree through the comfort in your home and when you finish from office. Thanks for all the other tips I have learned through the blog.

Mayers best days at center are in the past I would like him better on the wing.

3rd and 4th lines still a work in progress and another veteran physical grinder with speed would be nice. As I wrote Bruno doesn't seem to fit.

Scott??? Maybe biggest question now is why there aen't better choices than 5 mins of Scott.

PP....Entries are sometimes an issue but biggest problem is getting shots on the net from the points. Keith's shooting % is brutal...Time to give Leddy a long look with 1st unit.

If you want, you can post on My Fox Chgo site...Starting to develop more frequent comments there.

Al, a few thoughts and Qs;
>One of the Hawks better games this year, but still a bad start and bad first period (regardless of score)
>Loved the quick puck movement and gap control the Hawks had in periods 2 & 3
>#16 is one smart and good hockey player
>#65 has a bright future with his NHL-effort shift after shift
>I believe Mayers would be even more effective as a punishing wing, your thoughts?
>Getting a Moen-type wing for Bolland to move Kruger back to center the 2nd or 4th line is also key. Your thoughts?
>Is Q pulling an Ozzie with John Scott? (showing Bowman's off-season D pick-ups are lacking by dressing Scott and playing him five minutes)
>How would you make the power play better? (To me, entry into the offensive zone is terrible and the point men can't hit the net.)

I got to agree with Al. We need a #4 guy to help Leddy. Montador was suppose to be that guy abut he turned out to be a #5/6 guy instead. Montreal has nothing we want that they are willing to part with. Because Hammer is crap and O'donnell is too old we need a Luke Schenn/Ryan Wilson level player. Fact is the #4 guy on Montreal is probably the #6 guy on a cup contending team.

A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say that you've done a awesome job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Safari. Exceptional Blog!

There is nothing to be sorry about and I hope I didn't offend you...

But if you take a step back...

Saad had the best training camp of any young Hawk prospect even better than those who were older and made the roster.

So to include him and a 2nd rounder for players who are close to retirement is too much much.

Beach has been injured but I would deal him if a good deal presented istelf.

Gill might not be any better than Sean Odonnell, but Moen would add a neded element.

Good job putting yourself out there and providing some food for thought.

How interesting it is to see all the interpretations of what Suter said, declined to say, and left out. Man, it's amazing that everyone knows just exactly what Suter meant but there are little to none that agree. strange, eh? Just the reason to stop yapping about it and go on to something else you all can 'interpret' to your hearts' desire. sheesh!

look at 2 years ago bud boston and philly... philly im pretty sure made the playoffs on the last day with 0 goaltending and came within 2 games of the cup...

dont disagree with brodeur at all im viewing it as trying to be a jersey fan guys got a lot of miles and i think he is overated sure hes top all time in the record book but i also see that he played for the team that was the best at the neutral zone trap (not sure if you watched hockey before the lockout but the redline slowed the game down and they would get up 1 0 and go into the trap similar to Tampa but with more effictivness due to the two line pass)

But on suters class i will give you green becuae he is truely a forward but please dont tell me you think suter is better to start a franchise around than yandle karlson or doughhty please dont do it. I love suter but im not dumb enough to say that. his d partner is shea weber.. put erik johnson on shea webers blue line and the guy is in the hall of fame

Boston? You mean last year's 3 seed, right?

--I'm not going to go into this with comparing defensemen because at least 2-3 of the ones you've listed aren't in Suter's class.

-- Credit where it's due, Brodeur is one of the best to ever play the game, but he's simply been a shell of his former self for the past 2-3 years. By no means am I advocating a full throttle rebuild in NJ, but with a deal like this (or similar) they can retool an older roster on the fly.

dmen on the top of my head better than suter...
Chara,Lindstrom,weber,keith,latang,yandle,doughty,green,karlson

And tell Boston and Philly that being a 7 or 8 seed means you have no chance of winning in the playoffs. do i think they will raise another banner no. but if i was a fan and they got rid of the best player for a marginable top 6 guy and 2 prospects id be pissed. You have the best all time goalie in the league, streaky forwards and young Dmen that can use some improving on the fly.

and 2 prospects sure but brodin is not that good i know hes a 93 birth but your looking at an average NHLer at best. Coyle is good was USA's best player in the WJC but the deal doesnt make sense unless they lose marty or they halter down the stretch

-- Ryan Suter is a top-5 defenseman in this league, and is only 27 years old. Poile isn't going to just give him away. Also, the deal being dependent on Suter signing an extension, but of course that goes without saying.

-- NJ being in the playoff hunt really means nothing in this situation. How can Lou sit justify to ownership (if they even have any by then) letting one of the best 2-way players in the game walk away for nothing in July? Because his team was in the playoffs? If the Devils were a legitimate Cup contender, you could make an argument but you can search high and wide and I'd bet you can't find anyone outside of New Jersey who thinks the Devils have any shot at winning it this season. Therefore, you take what you can, while you can. A proven top-six guy (Setoguchi) & two guys with top-tier potential is far better than letting Parise walk for one round of playoff gate money.

I can certainly understand that position, especially from an NJ perspective, but ultimately, I think Lou understood that he'd be in this position when he signed Kovalchuk to the insane deal he's got. Regardless of such, I don't think Parise likes the fact that it's even gotten to this point with him being unsigned. Thus leading me to think that somehow, someway he'll end up back home in Minnesota next season.

Al, excuse me a bit there as I am not exactly at expert on the Hawks' prospects as I'm sure you are. I added Beach To the deal because I had previously heard his name as someone that could be available. Also, I can agree with you on Moen, but I believe that Gill can still be valuable to a contender. The guy eats up all sorts of PK minutes.

If Paul Holmgren traded JVR Schenn and then a first rounder on top of it all for a stay at home Dman, guy will lose his job. He just had to convince everyone in philly that going young was the right thing then he goes and trades a 22 year old second overall pick and a 20 year old 5th overal pick for a 27 year old Dman who is not garenteed to sign their. Suter is great but also plays along shea weber. Then you have Coyle being the center peice of a deal to get Parise... lets just compare the stats we can between Coyle and JVR: Coyle 40 points in 53 games 2 seasons at BU. JVR 74 pts in 67 games 2 seasons at UNH. Player that means more for their team between Suter and Parise is not even a question just look at where NJ is this year compared to last... and oh yea im pretty sure they are in the playoff hunt as well. So please benjamin I want to hear your logic answer about how these deals make sense or if you are just throwing a bunch of shit against the wall hoping something will stick?

Stan Bowman might have been born at night but it wasn't last night.

Gill and Moen are in the 9th inning of their careers....

Who would any team give up their top young prospect and a 2nd rounder for a grinder and a 6/7 dman???

Kyle Beach is a player the Hawks would deal.

Sorry, but there is zero chance Lamoriello will deal Parise, barring a February collapse of some kind. The ownership issues do not appear to be nearly as bad as the media have made them out to be, but obviously it remains to be seen.

While I'm far from guaranteeing Parise will be a Devil next season, I think it's pretty safe to think he will be a Devil in April.

Thanks for the comments. I call it like I see it. Let's hope that the Red Wings don't have many games like this one.

I recently found what I hoped for before you know it at all. Reasonably unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who add forums or something, website theme . a tones way for your customer to communicate. Excellent task..
