Milbury needs to call a game with this man right here. As I recall as a Life Long Bruins Fan Milbury back in the day took up martial Arts training to improve his game. must have ans improve confidence. I think Keremey needs to take one game off and I really admire his not playing into Milburys school yard tactics NBC shouls hace Mr Chuck Zito come in let Milbury run his flap a few syllables at this gentleman here. LOL to me this is would be worth seeing and would put an end to all the condescending crap That Me Michael Milbury slings. He does it to everyone . He did it to former teammate Gord Kluzak last season on NESN during a Bruins Game. it piss me off enough to write NESN a letter. I say just one game during these Olympics have Mr Zito work with Mr Milbury!!! Problem Solved Just ask Jean Claude Van Dam. He got an attitude adjustment from Mr Zito. http://www.chuckzito.com. Very Good article here by the way author I applaud your work!!!

Islander fans already know how much of an idiot Milbury is. Now everybody knows. It's nice to see that his idiocy goes hand in hand with racism. How many Cups would the Isles have won with Chara, Eric Brewer, Roberto Luongo, and Olli Jokinen?

This website is in the business of posting commentary on hockey. You guys of all people ought to know that Milbury's whole gig is to say rash and crazed stuff. All you're doing by chasing this comment is cementing his support among the 80-90% of the rest of the people who watch hockey while ripping through a six pack a period - which is a lot of fans, especially in Canada. Most of the Russian guys aren't well liked in the league by most fans - even some of their own team's fans.
For whatever reason, and it could be the language situation, they are seen as aloof and imbued with a superiority complex. Milbury was playing to a stacked crowd last night. If you could poll every person who watched that game in North America regarding Milbury's comment, his approval rating would top 80% - and you guys know it.
BTW - he picked the Russians to win before the game.
The Milbury photoshop work is funny, however. You ought to print up some tee shirts and get outside on the street by the Garden in Boston. You'd sell a bunch of them. I don't think the Bruins or their fans like Russian players too much. Oh, and Semin is clearly a punk. Too Bad Boyle couldn't finish him off due to the IIHF no fighting rule.
At any rate - go USA.

Yeah. Mike Milbury is an ass. That, ALL Isles fans know. Now, grandstanding and Don Cherry imitating aside, I watched that live. I thought at the time that it wasn't that big a deal. We have gotten WAAAAAY to PC. Soon, you won't be able to say ANYthing on tv without hurting someones' "feelings". (Aren't we already there???) What the heck ever happened to freedom of speech? And don't give me that, "But you can't say that on national televison" crap. We need to stop crying like a bunch of pansies every time some moron says something stupid.

Now if you want to crucify him for what he did to the Islanders in the 90's.......

I'm really not surprised that an American network would hire him as an "expert commentator" but he is also on CBC in Canada you would think they would be more selective about their "hockey experts" . This is the guy that traded Luongo, didn't draft Parise when he could have, has he been asked about this on air by anybody during the Olympics so even more of America, the ones that don't really follow the NHL, can realize what a buffoon he is. Would have been interesting if Milbury was the GM of team USA who he would have picked I know they wouldn't still be playing right now that's for sure.

Canda's Victory was impressive and they played great Hockey. Mibury's comments had no impact on the victory. To say they did is to imply that anyone even cares what he said. I'd bet they don't. Wannabes don't last long and he will soon not even be a footnote while memories of the Canda team's accomplishemnt will be heard for years. Must have been a really slow news day to have all this hoorah about nothing.
