Howdy. I live in Northern NJ and have been a Devil's fan for as long as I've followed hockey. I've never blogged before, but I do make my financial living as a technical writer, so I should be able to put a few thoughts together. Additionally, I write fiction novels in my spare time. Other hobbies include: reading, playing guitar, fantasy hockey, going to movies, etc. Thanks for reading. -Bekim
R. Niedermayer Vs. J. Madden
Devil Nation, This summer, the Devils let Madden walk. The result was an off-season of speculation about who NJ would find to replace MadDog. Some talked about Rod Pelley (Lou Lams himself noting the chance for a guy like Pelley to step up). Some thought Malhotra would be the best FA replacement (myself included). It [...]

Lost And Found – Breaking Down the Shanahan News

The dismissal or departure or layoff or whatever you want to call it has been reported as mutual – ie, Brendan didn’t want to play 5 minutes a night on the [...]
The Fighting Atlantic
Wow – I just realized it is going to be a brutal year trying to match up against the Flyers. Virtually every move they have made recently has increased their already prevalent team toughness. The Broad Street Bullies of the 70s are back, and you have to give Phili credit for sticking to their true [...]
The Elias Devils
[show_avatar email=bperolli@gmail.com] Patrick Elias has been a staple of the New Jersey Devils since he and the “A-Line” (Elias-Arnott-Sykora) rose to fame, dominating the NHL scoring race at times, and eventually leading to a successful Cup run in 2000. Sykora and Arnott haven’t been with NJ in quite a while, but Elias cemented his name [...]
#1: Devils Open Camp with 1 NHL Center
Hello Devils Fans! If you’re like me, you’re probably eager for the long off-season to be at an end. Another first round playoff departure for our Devils. Another coach. Another relatively quiet free agency period. Same old philosophy – spearheaded by the Lou/Marty brain-trust. Eklundian rumors of a Marleau trade now behind us, let’s take [...]
